About Us

Aider aims to transform everyday New Zealanders into motivated healthy individuals

In this era of increasing lifestyle induced illnesses , being informed and taking personal action now to decrease your long-term risks is very important. How to keep motivated on that path to wellness is the challenging factor!

Advice and personal motivation need to come together. Aider has been created to fill that crucial human gap, easily.

"Every person who joins the Aider programme is matched with a personal wellness motivator to help them reach their goals. Expert nutrition and exercise advice is then adapted to their specific needs and local environment."

Aider is an exciting development. By taking our programme into primary healthcare and communities we are the only service targeting everyday New Zealanders. This will make our commonsense programme accessible to the people who need it the most. It will also reduce the risk of chronic lifestyle illnesses like diabetes and heart disease.

The Program

Aider will take you on a 8-12 week programme either
face to face, by mail or online.

It's human nature to start a wellness programme with good intentions and then to lose steam. Aider understands that. Your personal wellness motivator is here to help you all the way to your goal - encouraging you to record, monitor and celebrate your progress. Here is how it works:

  • Connect with your personal wellness motivator to set your personal healthy lifestyle goals.
  • Receive a tailored plan, unique to your needs, covering eating, activity and motivational tips.
  • Receive weekly progress reviews and on-going adjustments to help you succeed.
  • Incentive checkpoints are planned during the programme - where you will be rewarded for making steady progress towards your goal.

Where possible your motivator will be a local person from your community so they can help link you in with other motivated people and give you ideas for exercise options you can enjoy where you live.
